Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Android/Linux Kernel Developer to join our team in Melbourne, FL or Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will join a team of fellow developers working on various mobile-centric efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop, modify, and maintain Linux kernel or Android kernel source code.
  • Develop and optimize device drivers for hardware components (e.g., cameras, sensors, GPUs).
  • Identify and optimize critical code paths to improve system performance.
  • Implement security patches and hardening measures for the kernel.
  • Identify and fix vulnerabilities in kernel space or user space interactions.
  • Write comprehensive documentation for kernel modifications.



Required Skills:




  • Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python and embedded systems



  • Experience with Android or Linux kernel vulnerability research and development



  • Understanding of the Android internals, driver development, and vulnerability research analysis



  • In-depth understanding of Mobile OS internals and build environments (Xcode, ADB, etc.)



  • In-depth understanding of network protocols



  • Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts



  • Knowledge of common CNO techniques





Security Clearance Requirement:



  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (preferred but not required).
