SUMMARY:

The Supply Room Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment as it relates to production operations at the Dewey Plant. They ensure all items are properly received, stored, and distributed to various departments as needed. This role involves maintain accurate records, tracking stock levels, and reordering supplies to prevent shortages.

1. Responsible for maintaining stocking and inventory system for supply room and satellite supply sites.
2. Responsible for keeping the supply room and outside area clean and organized.
3. Responsible for receipt of materials and disposition after receipt.
4. Responsible for issuing material from the Supply Room.
5. Responsible for alerting associates of items received in the supply room.
6. Responsible for maintaining and refilling MSC vending machine.
7. Responsible for the processing of Special Purchase Requisitions
8. Responsible for the charging out of Special Purchase Orders and Semi-Automatic orders. (Monitoring items on control)
9. Responsible for the supply issue of in/out quantity in sap report MB1A and the cycle counting of those 6xxxxxxxxx materials in the supply room inventory, each quarter.
10. Responsible for the material returned to vendors.
11. Responsible for actively seeking out multiple viable options with various vendors in order to ensure the right item quality, delivery, and lowest cost for Dewey Plant.
12. Responsible for coordination with corporate sourcing for ongoing cost reduction initiatives.
13. Responsible for organizing and ordering annual safety shoes and uniforms for Dewey Plant.
14. Responsible for acquiring and maintaining forklift certification.
15. Responsible for participation in safety and environmental training as required by Plant Management.
16. Actively participate in plant PPE team activities/audits/continuous improvement initiatives
17. Responsible for special projects and tasks as assigned by plant management.
18. Assist with inputting and processing Purchase Requisitions in Ariba database.
19. Assist with inputting Material Receipts in SAP.
20. Assist with MRBR and workflow for invoices pending payment due to discrepancies in quantity and/or dollar amount.
21. Assist with and conduct cycle count inventory of raw materials and finished products as required by management.
22. Assist Plant Controller Administrative Associate with weekly payroll on Monday morning with auditing time cards for errors and entering them into SAP Systems by noon.
23. Assist MRO associates to order parts and supplies for Engineering Services, as well as restock inventory.
