The Director of FP&A Solutions will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the FP&A solutions area. This includes overseeing implementations, such as Planful and Vena for our external clients. This role involves business development, client relationship management, solution implementation, and delivery of high-quality financial planning and analysis services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in FP&A with experience in such products as Planful, Vena and other related solutions, strong leadership and team management experience, and client-facing skills and to support the growth and success of both our clients and our organization. Remote or hybrid work arrangements will also be considered, depending on the role and business need. Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality FP&A services to clients, leveraging Planful and Vena to optimize financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Support the business development efforts to identify and secure new client engagements focused on Planful and Vena solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions that drive their financial success.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes for clients, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the implementation of Planful and Vena solutions for external clients, ensuring appropriate solution design, seamless integration and successful deployment.
- Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective client service and professional development.
- Collaborate with the IT department and clients to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Planful and Vena solutions.
- Monitor and manage key financial metrics and KPIs for clients, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Optimize and enhance the deployed platform to maximize usage, value and ensure license renewal.
- Represent the firm at conferences and deliver online and in-person seminars and speaking engagements.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and/or Close Management
- Extensive expertise in Planful and/or Vena solutions, including implementation and optimization.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing FP&A processes for external clients.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent professional level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and across all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and practices.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel - up to 25% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 6 years of supervisory experience
- Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $150,000 - $200,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position. The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
