Summary:

Join American Commercial Barge Line as a Warehouse Attendant and become an integral part of our supply chain team. In this role, you'll manage inventory by pulling, restocking, and accurately processing materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, packaging parts for shipment, performing cycle counts, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. What you will be doing... Your IMPACT



  • Pulls part from inventory and performs re-stocking functions.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Performs check-in of materials against packing slip and receives items in the computer system.
  • Completes cycle counts.
  • Picks and delivers parts as needed.
  • Packages parts for shipment.
  • Operates forklift for receiving, staging, and delivery activities.
  • Learns and utilizes inventory control systems to maintain inventory record accuracy.
  • Processes inventory transactions in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organized workplace.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


What we are looking for...

You will need to have:



  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • 1+ Year of warehousing, shipping/receiving, and/or inventory management experience.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Forklift licensing.
  • Basic computer use (Oracle and office productivity software such as Google G Suite and/or Microsoft Office) experience.
  • Demonstrable organizational skills with regard to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to safely meet deadlines.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude/understanding.
