Swing/Night Shift: 3:30p-2am Monday - Thursday, we offer a 10% Shift Differential for this schedule. Shields is experienced growth in the fourth quarter of 2023 which has carried over into 2024 and we have an immediate opportunity for 2 CNC Lathe Machinists on the swing shift. These team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. CNC Lathe Machinist (Levels 1-3) - CNC Lathe Machinist Ability to read and understand drawings Starts and observes machine operation Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors Process offset changes unassisted Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Verify conformance of completed work Working on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX2500, NLX3000, NLX4000, NZX2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, Manual Lathe.
