About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Marketing Department. This role is pivotal in streamlining marketing operations and ensuring efficient budget management. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing marketing processes, managing the marketing budget, and providing insights to enhance marketing effectiveness. This position requires a blend of operational acumen, financial expertise, and strong collaborative skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Marketing Operations Management:Oversee and refine marketing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and tools to enhance the marketing team's productivity with an emphasis on vendor management and budgeting.
  • Budget Management:Develop, monitor, and manage the marketing department's budget. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and provide recommendations for budget adjustments as necessary.
  • Financial Analysis:Work collaboratively with our Reporting and Analytics team to conduct financial analyses to evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, assess ROI, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing spend.
  • Project Coordination:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects, aligning resources and timelines with budgetary constraints.
  • Reporting and Analytics:Generate and present comprehensive reports on budget performance, marketing metrics, and operational efficiencies to senior management.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement:Ensure all marketing operations and budgeting activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements.
  • Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in budgeting and financial analysis.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or certification in marketing operations or finance is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably within a marketing or advertising environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel, and experience with financial software systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
