Department's Website: *Acts as first point of contact for the Division of Workforce Education and Training, manages day to day office duties such as but not limited to greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls and emails, answering questions and providing information upon request to visitors, faculty, staff, and students, manage incoming and outgoing mail, assist customers with program application/registration, provide non-credit course packets/documents. Maintains and orders office supplies. *Serves as point of contact for division faculty managing call ins, class delays and cancellations, and other related tasks as directed. *Maintain databases and records to gather required data for reporting, including but not limited to, student information, workforce student management system and records, and creating required reports for internal use, grants, and state requirements. *Responsible for updating the college catalog and other literature related to the division making certain the information provided is accurate and updated in a timely manner. Ensures updates are made to division documents such as syllabi, plans of study, and degree completion plans. *Serves as budget specialist, expense date entry specialist, as well as other roles. Also enters division related requisitions in the Workday operating system. *Assists in organizing and preparing for departmental advisory meetings, attends and record meeting minutes. This may require evening work on occasion * Assist with proctoring certification exams for short-term training courses. *Assist in communications for GBP-AKD Training Center. *Reviews, maintains, scans, and indexes documents into workforce student management system and other electronic systems. *Develop and perform quality checks on storage of student data to ensure accuracy and efficiency of scanned documents. *Performs other duties as assigned.
