WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Engineering Cybersecurity Analyst in our Milwaukee, Green Bay, or Chicago locations. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the office.

This position is part of a job family (IT Cybersecurity Analyst/Senior IT Cybersecurity Analyst) where experience is the determining factor in placement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, design, and/or build secure information technology (IT) systems, with responsibility for system and/or network development. Perform highly-specialized review and evaluation of incoming cybersecurity information.
  • Manage the collection and analysis of information from various application, conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities, and develop and/or recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures.
  • Develop, modify, and execute company policies and procedures that affect cybersecurity operations and ensure compliance (e.g. NERC CIP, Sarbanes Oxley).
  • Develop cybersecurity indicators to ascertain the status of the operating environment.
  • Identity and access management.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, computer information systems, MIS, or engineering is preferred. A combination of associate degree, military or professional cybersecurity experience and cybersecurity certification (CISSP, GAIC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered.
  • 2+ years Cybersecurity experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, GAIC, MCSE, GICSP, CSSA)

Desirable skills include any of the following:

  • Active Directory Design and Management
  • Cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Scripting experience, PowerShell or .NET (VB or C#)
  • Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Data security
  • Network Access Management, DNS, DHCP

Pay Range Minimum: $76,932.70

Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
