Requirements | High school diploma/GED + the completion of a plumbing apprentice program + 10+ years of verifiable plumbing experience + a valid driver's license + state or jurisdiction master plumbing license + forklift and aerial equipment certification/training + the ability to lift 50 pounds

Plumber Job Descriptions

• Install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in commercial buildings.
• Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems.
• Use knowledge of high-pressure steam and air systems to complete daily tasks.
• Plan, layout, and install plastic drain systems.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of various materials.
• Weld holding fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace/shop area.
