Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the architecture, design, support, implementation and preventive maintenance of the firms' server and storage infrastructure including on premise and cloud solutions. This position is also responsible for the integrity and availability of all firm data.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, upgrade, monitor server and data storage infrastructure in all firm offices and datacenters and Microsoft Azure including but not limited to Windows Server 2016/2012, Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and other related systems.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft and Azure Active Directory.
- Design, implement, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, and other ancillary systems in a hybrid enterprise environment.
- Manage and maintain VMWare environment.
- Manage and maintain Citrix VDI environment.
- Monitor metrics around server / storage utilization and capacity and recommend changes and upgrades as necessary.
- Work with team to upgrade and patch servers to ensure all servers are protected.
- Work as part of the infrastructure team and respond to system and end-user issues, as necessary.
- Work with Applications teams as necessary.
- Keep current documentation of topology and procedures.
Position Specific Skills and Requirements:
- 5 plus years' experience designing, evaluating and recommending server solutions in a global network environment.
- Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange online, MDM, etc.
- Minimum 3 plus years' experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure administration.
- 5 plus years' experience working with a VMware ESX environment including SRM.
- Experience with self-signed and external Certificates.
- Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Citrix NetScaler
- Experience with server management applications (Microsoft SCOM a plus).
- Experience with server backup applications.
- Scripting experience a must, PowerShell preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
Education and General Requirements:
- BA or a BS degree is required.
- Advanced / current Microsoft certification strongly preferred.

- Travel Requirements:
Ability to engage in off-site travel as required from time to time, in order to meet the demands of the job, and the needs of the Firm.
