Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Support initiatives within the Research and Development Chemistry laboratory.

  • Operating laboratory equipment including but not limited to analytical balance, pH meter, dissolution apparatus, and UV spectrophotometers under the direction of a supervisor.

  • Prepare solutions (i.e. buffers, mobile phases, diluents) and samples are per procedures.

  • Calculate raw data by calculator or computer.

  • Assist in the calibration and record keeping of laboratory equipment.

  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory.

  • Assist the stability management team as needed.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a science based degree program, Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Must possess basic knowledge of chemistry.

  • Must be able to work with complex laboratory equipment, chemicals, and fragile glassware.

  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.

  • Must possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this position is:if pursuing Bachelor's degree = $20/hour, if pursuing Master's degree = $25/hour, if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
