We are seeking a Enterprise Account Manager to join our Higher Ed team at McGraw Hill. Reporting to the Associate Director of Enterprise Account Managers, this role is mission critical to develop and execute sales strategies to grow enterprise revenue at assigned accounts.

What is this role about?

As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for enterprise, institutional, and adoption level sales across higher education institutions within your assigned territory. You must be comfortable at obtaining and conducting C-Level presentations with the goal of creating large-scale consultative selling opportunities. You will display the ability to simultaneously work independently, lead sales initiative teams, and use the expertise and experience of colleagues to advance opportunities.

Candidates must reside permanently reside within the United States and be located in Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Utah or Idaho area to be considered for the opportunity. This role works from a remote office and has regular travel on campus for meetings and presentations with faculty, staff and administration. A valid driver's license is required to be considered for this role and a company vehicle will be provided. Travel expectations vary term to term based on the needs of the district, campuses and current initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute strategy to grow enterprise revenue at assigned accounts.
  • Meet with institutional leadership around strategic initiatives and needs and identify opportunity for new enterprise services and revenue.
  • Negotiate deals at the institutional, system and state level.
  • Engage with Enterprise implementation team to ensure operational and implementation excellence across the assigned accounts.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all executive and leadership staff at the assigned accounts, and work across McGraw-Hill Education to provide prompt and through service and follow-up.
  • Engage with Regional VP and Sales leadership to optimize sales efforts and results via collaboration with other members of the sales team.
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive sales metrics and results.
  • Coach, mentor and monitor the local team to execute on sales strategy.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 7 years of Enterprise Sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience selling complex deals into large organizations
  • Superb presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of market, accounts, and competition and industry trends in the region.

The pay range for this position is between $70,000 - 100,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual sales incentive plan is included as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
