Job Summary and Responsibilities

Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for designing, monitoring, and maintaining security protocols to protect the programs sensitive data. This role also includes identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessment, performing security audits.

  • Aid team in compiling documentation for Cybersecurity and Risk Assessment Program (CSRAP), Security Impact Analysis (SIA) and Authority to Operate (ATO) prior to project implementation and support the recurring and ongoing security requirements.
  • Work with contract Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and with Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to monitor and track security findings, plan the steps to be taken to remediate the findings and track the progress.
  • Monitor different security scan reports from tools like Snyk, Telnet, AWS SecurityHub and identify vulnerabilities and help team in planning for the remediation.
  • Support the team by proposing, coordinating, implementing security policies.
  • Monitor the system changes and assess the security impact because of these changes.
  • Prepare, review and update documents like System Security Plans (SSP), Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA), Contingency Plan (CP), Incident Response (IR), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Inventory of the system
  • Complete Security Impact Analysis (SIA) for every release including the patching changes and get the approval from ISSO
  • Document, review, monitor and maintain security and privacy controls in CFACTS as per the ARS 5.1.
  • Support annual penetration testing, CSRAP by reviewing the documents, scan reports and preparing the team. Document and create a plan for addressing any Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) created as part of these tests.
  • Conduct annual training and testing of Contingency Plan and Incident Response and document the results and submit to CMS for approval.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant security and privacy trends and update the team with any relevant information.

Qualifications

  • US citizen or authorized to work in US, who lived in the country for more than 10 years and must pass a government Public Trust clearance.
  • 5+ years' experience supporting Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Meet deadlines with planning to achieve success

Preferred

  • Experience in driving teams to achieve ATO
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience

USD $110,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr
