Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator, supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB in Tennessee. The Payroll Coordinator will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for paying our diverse workforce that is supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal and external candidates.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a part of the team responsible for processing payroll for BNH employees. The job includes processing payroll, providing assistance to employees and management regarding paycheck or timekeeping issues, and other general payroll responsibilities. Successful candidate should possess the following:
Ability to multitask
Strong excel skills (Pivot table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Payroll experience
Costpoint or UKG experience a plus
The ability to communicate clearly with a large and diverse workforce

Job Duties:

* Process payroll and payroll corrections on a weekly and/or biweekly basis
* Check timesheets for accuracy and process wage garnishments and union dues
* Produce payroll reports for management and maintain payroll operations according to company policy and procedure
* Reconcile payroll related accounts and perform 401K and Pension funding
* Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees
* Communicate with the workforce and help resolve any discrepancies in pay
* It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
* Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

* Two years of college and four years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
* Current U. S. Citizenship required.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience with Costpoint Time, Labor, Leave, or Payroll with certifications
