Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions. We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work. Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.

The Territory Manager is responsible for your territory's performance. Your primary responsibility is sales and business development, including coordinating your territory sales resources with National Accounts, Product Specialists, and Supplier Reps. You are also responsible for the oversight of operations, but the primary responsibility for operations is delegated to your Operations Manager (your exact territory setup may vary).

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of the assigned territory to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and action plan to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Stay up to date with the company's products or services, as well as industry trends, ensuring a deep understanding of features, benefits, and applications.

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and goals for the territory, and track performance to meet or exceed targets.

  • Generate leads through various means such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, addressing customer needs and showcasing the value of products or services.

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with customers to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, track key performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management.

  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and collaborate with cross-functional teams to capitalize on them.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in sales and business development activities.

Preferred...

  • 5-10 years sales experience required. Leadership a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree or applicable experience in a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
