Accounts Payable Specialist

position will support the Shared Services Center by overseeing accounts payable
processes, ensuring invoices are paid promptly and accurately, and working with
other departments to address any discrepancies. This role involves partnering
with and providing cross-functional support to business units and regions,
reporting to Accounts Payable Management to ensure expenses are recorded
accurately and on time.

Key
Duties:
Accurately process and code invoices to ensure on-time payments
Adhere to department performance metrics, policy, procedures, and internal controls.
Communicate with vendors and internal personnel to resolve invoice disputes.
Reconcile invoice statements.
Research and perform vendor data analysis as needed.
Support audit requests and other special projects as required.
Assist in month-end closing; including journal support and accruals.
Knowledgeable of the accounts payable process including general ledger terminology and the general accrual process.
Develop and maintain successful and positive relationships with business leaders and managers within the organization.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
High School Diploma, Associate's degree is a
plus
0-3 years applicable Accounts Payable/Accounting experience
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Accounts Payable Systems, Microsoft Dynamics D365 or Microsoft AX is a plus
