Senior Mechanical Engineer (10+ years)

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivatedMechanical Engineerwith 10+ years of experience. The successful individual willhave an interest in the design and project management of projects for HVAC, piping and plumbing systems for hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. In addition, theindividualshouldbecomfortable consulting to architecturalpractices andhaveadesiretoworkona multi-disciplineengineeringteam. The individual will be expected to demonstrate ability to be a technical lead within a dynamic team of mechanical engineers and will report to the mechanical discipline manager.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Approximate Base Salary - 125k-160k based on experience
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
• Hybrid Work Schedule(subject to change)
• 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

• BS in Mechanical engineering or related field
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project Management experience and/or certifications
• Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of applicable codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with both HVAC and Plumbing systems
• Experience with energy modeling software (EnergyPro, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Must be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner.

• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign software preferred. Must understand database concepts. Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.
• General knowledge of firm's practice, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures and basic marketing principles.
• Able to work independently, as a team member, and as a team leader.
• Strong organizational ability; detail oriented; high degree of accuracy.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
