The Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology (BNSM) team at Bruker is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual for the role of Distribution Planner. The position is an opportunity for motivated individual to utilize their innovation, leadership, business, and supply chain skills to deliver valuable operational support to the Bruker BNSM Global Supply Chain (GSM) team. In this role, you will use your data analytics skills and DRP experience to minimize shortages and reduce the costs of ordering, transporting, and holding goods, to enable excellent service levels for our nine sites across the globe.



Responsibilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning
* Collect and evaluate average daily usage (ADU) data to understand demand trends
* Use seasonal demand to influence the forecast for improved accuracy
* Analyze data using ADU, forecast, and the replenishment lead times to determine correct inventory levels
* Prepare and submit recommendation for inventory adjustment for approval

Inventory Planning & Optimization
* Maintain reorder point data based on inventory adjustments
* Analyze and aggregate supply / demand requirements
* Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
* Evaluate reporting and queries to support inventory control analysis
* Prepare inventory/production related analysis per management direction, including ad hoc reporting and maintenance of departmental KPIs
* Establish and track process metrics and key performance indicators

Capacity Planning
* Assess supply resources to aggregate and prioritize demand requirements, plan inventory and distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products

Other Responsibilities
* Partner and collaborate with other functions and leaders to establish and improve processes and procedures to align to the business model, requirements, and strategy
* Implement and maintain material and inventory control systems, policies, processes and procedures ensuring that a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
* Monitor, assess and communicate risks and delays to project teams and management on a timely basis
* Develop and implement strategies and goals for specific products, projects, or processes
* Drive improvements that increase efficiency, improves effectiveness, and provides overall benefit to cost



Qualifications

Education and/or Experience requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, engineering, business, economics or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience of supply chain, demand planning, distribution requirements planning (DRP), material resource planning (MRP), inventory control and /or supplier management
* Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office, including expert level functionality with Excel
* Minimum 3 years' experience working within and between ERP systems, analytics and dashboard software (PowerBI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc)
* Certificate in CPIM or CSCP strongly preferred.

* Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage large amounts of data from various inputs and consolidate the information for critical business decisions (data analytics)
* Strong interpersonal, persuasion, influencing and collaboration skills required.
* Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities constantly and meet strict deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and identify issues or barriers and generate solutions, using high level of personal discretion in decision making.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create written communication that is properly structured providing clear, concise messages that draw well supported conclusions. Verbal communication skills required across all levels of the organization and with external vendors and suppliers.
* Demonstrates in-depth understanding of the financial aspects of Supply Chain operations and knowledge and proficiency across multiple practices within the Supply Chain function to understand, coordinate and communicate across the competing demands of each.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $83,000 to $133,000. You will have the ability progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
