This professional position is responsible for a wide range of fund compliance and administration activities related to the University of Minnesota Foundation funds established to accept and manage donations and the related agreements. This position is responsible for the knowledge and application of state and federal laws, IRS rules and regulations, and the University and Foundation policies and principles. Starting salary: $60,000- 70,000 based on experience.
Establishes and maintains fund accounts (30%)
Staying apprised of policies and compliance aspects of the job and is able to understand, interpret and apply to role (10%)
Serves as liaison for development staff, University accounting staff and others within the Finance department (10%)
Assists with miscellaneous projects (10%)
