The role includes spending time with the children, playing with them, and providing learning opportunities across the four domains of child development: Language, Cognitive, Physical, and Social/Emotional. The Child Caregiver will also attend to children's everyday needs, such as ensuring their safety, feeding them, changing diapers, assisting with toilet training, cleaning, and helping during rest times. Responsibilities Assist in developing a lesson plan for assigned age groups with developmentally appropriate activities to meet learning goals. Manage an early education classroom and engage children in learning and play activities. Read a minimum of three books with children daily. Display children's work on the wall. Provide one motor/movement activity in the morning Monitor the whereabouts of each child continually, with a focus on safety. Assist in ensuring all State Licensing regulations are followed. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing.
