THE JOB:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the management of the assigned restaurants. They provide direction and leadership for the Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager and the Restaurant Service team consistent with the MGM brand. They are responsible for leading the team to achieve the operational and financial goals of the venue; driving covers and optimizing reservation channels; monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; executing initiatives as implemented by property F&B leadership; maintaining the facilities in accordance with MGM Resorts service standards; and ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE:
The compensation for this position $90k-$95k annual

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: You're in charge of running the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, managing inventory, ensuring great guest service, and creating marketing strategies to keep the restaurant successful now and in the future. You'll also co-manage the business plan with the Executive Chef and represent the restaurant in meetings.
  • Implement Policies and Standards: Make sure staff follows all rules, pricing strategies, training programs, and health and cleanliness standards. Keep everything running smoothly and meet company training requirements.
  • Manage the Team: Hire, train, and build a strong team that values teamwork, mutual respect, and growth. Ensure staff feels supported and appreciated while staying compliant with company policies and employment laws.
  • Engage with Guests: Interact with guests to ensure they're having a great dining experience. Handle complaints professionally and manage feedback to improve service. Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth service between the kitchen and dining room.
  • Know the Menu: Be familiar with all the food, drinks, and tools used in the restaurant to help staff and guests effectively.
  • Other Duties: Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Two (2) years of Prior Experience managing Asian Restaurant
  • Previous experience in managing high volume fine dining Asian restaurant
  • Experience Approving weekly payroll
  • Proper accounting and reconciliation of the POS (Point of Sale systems)
  • Knowledge of P&L, restaurant optimization, valuable labor
  • Set policies and processes
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is preferred.

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$66,300.00 - $110,500.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
