As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by serving guests beverages while on our gaming floor. By understanding our guests' unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING RATE: $7.80 + tips THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take orders, and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area Place order, and garnish and serve cocktails to guests Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available Knowledge of local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment to include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Knowledge of beverages on menu, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes Highly motivated and energetic personality Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts Able to lead and mentor a team Has at least 6 months of previous serving experience (preferred)
