LJI T32 Immunology Training Program for US Citizen and Underrepresented Minority Postdoctoral Fellows
Program Title: Training in Immunological Mechanisms La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LJI; http://www.lji.org) offers a research training program for postdoctoral scientists that are US citizens or non-citizen permanent residents including underrepresented minorities. The program will provide training in immunological mechanisms related to development and treatment of Autoimmune, Inflammatory, and Infectious Disease and Cancer. The program involves 21 faculty members from LJI whose expertise is in immune cell function that relates to inflammatory diseases such as diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, asthma, atherosclerosis, and atopic dermatitis; infectious diseases such as dengue, zika, cytomegalovirus, coronavirus, and tuberculosis; and immunotherapy of cancer.
