Job Summary:

To assure our products meet or exceed customer expectations by assisting personnel through training, instruction, and good communication. To assess quality performance against quality standards. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • A formal training program after high school or approximately one year in duration.
  • Advanced vocational trade, technical or administrative skills plus knowledge of a specific area of the organization or first level group leaders over vocational level workers. These skills are typically gained through two or more years of experience and/or through a two-year associate degree or formal vocational training program (for example, production workers, laboratory technical support).
  • 4 or more years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing facility required.
  • Intermediate personal skills, the position must frequently be in contact with people outside the work unit to give or obtain information.
  • Vocational trade, technical or administrative skills or the ability to provide work direction to others. One or two years of work experience or specialized training is needed (for example, drafting, basic bookkeeping, operating a computer, general clerical work, advance word processing, customer service work, journey level skilled crafts).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe work practices are at the forefront on a daily basis
  • Have a good working knowledge of ISO/IATF Procedures
  • Assist in the achievement of Departmental and Company related KPI's
  • Independently uses databases to assess causes of UPS and initiates efforts to reduce

    • Lead quality Kaizen events
    • Develops A3's


  • Ensures rapid deployment across all shifts
  • Assists with PPAP's to meet customer requirements as directed by Quality Engineer(s)
  • Disposition dimensional NCRs for items produced on assigned shift.

    • Containment of other orders current and future
    • Work with crews to effectively solve to root using CAR process


  • Use quality tools to evaluate capability

    • Capability studies
    • SPC to identify out of control conditions


  • Specify reaction plans for out-of-control conditions
