THE JOB:

As an EVS Utility Porter, your responsibilities are crucial in creating a positive experience for guests by providing outstanding service, ensuring cleanliness in various areas, and contributing to a safe and inviting environment for everyone. This role not only reflects a commitment to hygiene and orderliness but also enhances the overall ambiance, making it essential to the satisfaction and well-being of both guests and staff alike.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.95 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics and exceed guest expectations
• Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas
• Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment
• Contains and cleans biohazardous materials
• Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Effective listening abilities
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
