General Summary: The Technical Assistance Associate supports assigned projects at the Institute for Community Inclusion. They will provide technical assistance and training related to postsecondary education for students with intellectual disability, in collaboration with the Technical Assistance Manager, Alliances Manager, and Program Directors. The incumbent will serve as a technical assistance provider, documenting and addressing requests. They will support and contribute to the development of training resources and information through multiple formats including online learning resources, research-to-practice briefs and how-to guides, virtual resource repositories, as well as conducting in-person and remote trainings, webinars, and conference presentations. They will provide administrative support for the technical assistance team such as soliciting and receiving reports, tracking and receiving deliverables, scheduling meetings, and following up with partners as needed. The position may be held remotely, but regular nation-wide travel will be required. Examples of Duties:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in special education, higher education, rehabilitation counseling, disability studies, or other relevant field, and a minimum of two years of experience providing instruction, training, and/or technical assistance for/to people with intellectual disability. Minimum of two years' experience working with inclusive postsecondary education programs and students with intellectual disability is required, with experience working in a state or regional alliance preferred. Experience in supporting and documenting processes like program evaluation, project management, training development, and/or program development is preferred. Must be able to travel regionally, and nationally 4-5 times per year. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
