Distribution Manager

Spectrum Brands' Home & Personal Care (HPC) Appliances business participates on a global basis in small electric appliances, shave/groom appliances and beauty appliances. • Negotiate and implement effective 3PL distribution and transportation contracts.
• Enable a multimodal distribution network designed to fulfill all customer and consumer demands.
• Develop and approve budgeting while providing oversight control of distribution costs.
• Create and implement long-term strategic plans for the distribution function to ensure continued customer service program development and logistics requirements for future needs in domestic and international markets.
• Provide leadership development and resource support for the team.
• Maintain and produce monthly KPI reports for cost, quality, service, and safety.
• Owns the relationship and execution oversight of all return/refurbish programs.
• Responsible for all distribution-related SOX compliance oversight and reporting.
• Ensure internal and external inventory accuracy compliance measures are achieved.
• Leads the design and implementation of distribution network models that support the strategic direction of the business and future growth.

• B.S./B.A. Degree; MBA preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of Operations/Finance/Supply Chain/Distribution experience with emphasis in multi-site distribution.
• Industry certification preferred.
• Some understanding of Network Design is preferred.
• Experience in DTC, ecomm parcel fulfillment

• High level of organizational skills.
• PC skills (Spreadsheet, word processing, presentations).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Development and articulation of strategy.
• Ability to effectively lead associates both local and remote.
• Diplomacy and negotiations.
• Financial acuity with the ability to understand, communicate and affect change in key metrics.
• WMS and TMS experience.
• Works effectively across the organization and fosters teamwork.
• Self-motivated.
• Effective time management skills.
• Strong understanding of the systems and technology in the distribution space.

Work conditions normal for an office environment, up to 25% travel.
