Description

POSITION: Receptionist

DEPARTMENT: Administration (Kansas City, KS)

Starting Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 (Hourly)

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Receptionist reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for the front desk lobby area on a daily basis to welcome guest positively and execute all administrative and clerical tasks to the highest standards. The receptionist will maintain a personal and professional disposition to provide good customer service to clients, team members, and visitors. The receptionist must be able to work in a sometimes stressful environment, ensure confidentiality, be ready to keep busy, able to multitask, and be a good communicator. The receptionist will coordinate all front desk activities including greeting all who enter the building, complete training, keep the area neat and clean, take inventory, order office supplies, manage receipts and invoices, distribute correspondence, answer the phone, provide information, redirect phone calls, take messages, and other tasked as assigned by the Office Manager. The receptions must also be able to handle emergency situations including fire, tornado, threats of violence, and medical emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree and at least one year of experience. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
