Logistics Intern

The Role

The Atlas Copco intern will be taught and coached on how to perform the following assignments that are critical to Service Logistics Department success:

*Learn and manage the current 8x8 phone system for Atlas Copco Compressor Technique and recommend improvements in existing scripts (CCaaS)

*Help implement and launch the new 8x8 Teams version software (CCaaS) for Atlas Copco Compressors LLC with Local and Divisional Leadership

*Participate in the design and implementation of a new enterprise phone system (UCaaS) for Atlas Copco Compressor Technique with Dynamics forAtlas Copco Compressors LLC with Local and Divisional Leadership

*Create flow charts using Visio from Service Logistics documented Procedures and Work Instructions

*Manage the new phone system versions forAtlas Copco Compressors LLC after implementation

*Learn and manage the HOY phone system ticketing systemAtlas Copco Compressors LLC phone issues from phone users

*Help to train corporate and regional phone users on the phone systems as needed or requested

*Help document phone system processes not already documented

*Learn and run the phone system reporting and provide phone analytics to recommend user or system improvements

*Assist Logistics Specialists with daily activities ranging from LTL shipments to Packing List Returns, to physical inventory reconciliation, to rental equipment assets, etc.

• $18/hrfor 40 hours / week - 10 weeks

*Demonstrated proficiency on an integrated digital platform

*Curiosity and interest in Business Information Systems, preferably with the focus in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems

*Entrepreneurial mindset

*Excellent analytical skills

*Ability to process information and review process flow

*Business case development

*Project management skills

*Comfortable working with data to derive the needed information, presentation of data, and communicating with senior employees
