Job Objective

As a Social Media Fellow, you will craft and curate compelling social media content that enhances our company's visibility and voice across various platforms. You'll help steer our corporate narrative and shape key content pillars by developing social content that resonates and drives engagement with our various audiences.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • You'll work closely with the Corporate Communications team and other cross-departmental functions to brainstorm and develop social media content targeting multiple stakeholders, including employees, media/investors, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, patients and caregivers.

  • Create and produce compelling social content aligned with our corporate strategies, aimed at boosting awareness and driving engagement across multiple social media platforms.

  • Design and maintain a stockpile of evergreen content, including creative assets and user-generated content, for regular posting across corporate and global channels.

  • Conduct social media research to stay informed on new and emerging industry trends and competitors to inform content strategy.

  • Provide ongoing monitoring and community management by engaging with our communities through comments and direct messages, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulations, as well as a consistent company voice.

  • Support the design and rollout of social media campaigns and monitor engagement to scale successful strategies.

  • Support the development of monthly social analytic reports.

  • Assist in the management and creation of paid social campaigns.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degreein Communications, advertising, graphic design, or related field

  • A knack for creativity and a flair for crafting engaging social media content across major platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, with a portfolio to showcase your work.

  • Organized, creative, and capable of grasping the company voice, acting as a versatile contributor to our content and social media efforts.

  • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or similar software for designing and editing creative assets.

  • Background or strong interest in Graphic Design or Advertising, with skills in short-form video editing.

  • Must be social media savvy with familiarity of using platforms from a professional, corporate perspective.

  • Strong writing skills, and ability to draft short-form and long-form content for social platforms.

  • Ability to extract and interpret social performance data to help inform content strategies.

  • Be proactive and an independent thinker; willing to collaborate with a multi-disciplined team.

  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Superb attention to detail.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and expand your skills in social-focused communications and project management.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • This is a one (1) year Talent Pipeline Program and the candidate/applicant must be able to complete the entire one-year program

  • Fellow must be a recent college graduate
