Description

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and efficient Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant with at least 5 years of experience to provide essential support for our team. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. The ideal candidate will manage scheduling, order supplies, oversee space and facilities requests, and handle other administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities



  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the team, ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate team meetings, appointments, and other calendar activities.
  • Supply Management: Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate stock for daily needs.
  • Space and Facilities Management: Oversee office space allocations and manage facilities requests.
  • Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized records, files, and documents.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Respond to emails and phone calls professionally and promptly.
  • Report Generation and Data Entry: Create and update reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to support cross-functional activities and projects.



Qualifications



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professional demeanor with strong time-management and multitasking skills.



Preferred Skills



  • Experience with scheduling, meetings and facilities management systems (a plus).
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures.



DC-based: This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $56,000 and $76,000 per year.

Any actual offer of employment, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be made in the sole discretion of ACS. ACS reserves the right to amend or modify its employment benefits and compensation structure at any time.
