THE JOB:

As an Apprentice Bartender, you'll assist Bartenders with drink preparation, maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, and ensure that stock levels are met for smooth operations. You'll have the opportunity to interact with guests, learn the art of mixology, and support the team in delivering exceptional service. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about bartending and eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

THE STARTING RATE:$15.5487

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist bartenders with preparing drinks, mixes, garnishes, and restocking the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the overall appearance of the bar area.
• Ensure the proper setup and delivery of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, glassware, garnishes, and ice.
• Interact with guests, communicate effectively, and assist in resolving guest inquiries.
• Perform opening and closing duties, and help with cash handling, receipts, and stock organization

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work on-call shifts and be flexible to move between different bars and outlets.
• 6 months of experience in a bar porter or related position supporting bar operations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
• Eagerness to assist bartenders proactively, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with cash handling, organization, and knowledge of SNHD guidelines and liquor handling is a plus.
• A passion for mixology and excitement for making drinks will help you stand out.
