5+ years experience developing Oracle packages, procedures, functions
Provide architecture recommendations to support reporting, database and middle-tier components
Experience writing shell scripts and task automation
Experience developing and implementing the below:
Data quality
Data archival
Data security
Data interfaces and mappings
Data standards
Experience with performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting
Ability to support database design and PL/SQL functionality not just from a technical perspective but from a business perspective
Analytic ability to make forward thinking database architecture recommendations
Extensive implementation skills covering a wide range of Oracle solutions
Experience with recommending and configuring security
Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment.
Ability to prioritize requests from multiple projects and support requirements.
Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to details.
Strong focus on internal and external customer requirements.
Basic qualifications/experience (the required qualificationswhich are critical to be considered for the position:
College Degree (BS, BA, or AAS) in Computer Science or Information Technology related field. ?Experience may be substituted.??

Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)

Proficient in Data migration
Experience interfacing Maximo with an Oracle Database
Experience working with Virtual Private Database
Experience with Data Warehouse design
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a plus
Top Secret Clearance is a plus
