Our Mission: To help teachers and coaches show kids how to have fun and be healthier through physical activity Our Values: We create delighted fans We are dependable and trustworthy We are passionate about quality and excellence We move fast to innovate and improve The job: The Fulfillment Operations Manager ensures that the entire series of daily activities required to receive products from our suppliers, put them away, ad pick/pack/ship them to our customers takes place flawlessly each day. You'll lead the entire team of Supervisors and team members who are responsible for Logistics, Quality Assurance, Receiving, Put Away, Pick, Pack and Ship. You'll manage and improve all these activities so that our customers receive the right products, at the right location, in the shortest amount of time for the lowest total fulfillment cost. This is a full time, 5 days a week in-person role at our modern warehouse facility in Owatonna, MN. What you'll do: Lead and encourage the 30 person team to consistently achieve the company's standards for fulfilling customer orders. Manage, prioritize and harmonize all the activities and processes in fulfillment operations to ensure efficiency and excellence. Recommend and implement changes to activities, processes and workflows to meaningfully improve the customer experience, speed up the process and/or reduce costs. Directly supervise the functional leaders of Quality, Fulfilment Operations, Logistics, and Facility Maintenance. Manage and improve all the agreements with our transportation partners. Use, configure and report with the current company software (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.). Manage and optimize all the costs and expenses related to order fulfillment. Ensure a safe, OSHA compliant work environment. Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations. Ensure clean, well-maintained warehouse, warehouse equipment, building and grounds. What does success look like? * Inbound transportation costs and transit times are reduced (ocean, LTL and other . * Received products are checked for quality before put away into inventory. * Orders are picked, packed and shipped same day. * Orders arrive at the correct customer location, undamaged, on or before the company's promised delivery date. * Outbound transportation costs and transit times are reduced (parcel and LTL). * Special handling and/or installation of customer's orders is executed according to company standards. * Our warehouse, building and grounds is bright, clean, well-organized and in great condition. Requirements If the following describes you, you might be great for this role: You have 3 or more years and demonstratable success managing a function that fulfills thousands of order lines per day You have a positive, optimistic personality and communicate clearly and simply. You have expertise implementing, configuring, optimizing and reporting with modern WMS, TMS, ERP software and other technology used in fulfillment operations. You have negotiated and managed contracts and performance agreements with parcel and LTL shippers You have managed department spending within a budget You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
