Business Job Title: It Help Desk Intern

Job Summary:



  • The IT Intern will be responsible for assisting Broan's Infrastructure team on support and strategic IT initiatives. Install/Maintain/Support all PC and Peripheral equipment, and Support user community and infrastructure to satisfy designated business needs.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Install and Maintain PC and Peripheral equipment.
  • Perform help desk functions, including administration and level one & two support.
  • Work with help desk system to resolve support issues. Prioritize issues based on user impact and manage priorities to resolve issues within stated response times.
  • Understand basic Active Directory administration, account operations, and password maintenance.
  • Provide desktop support, PC deployment & imaging, and maintain hardware & software standards.
  • Perform directory services administration.
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring daily backup operations.
  • Participate in key infrastructure-based projects.


Job Requirements:



  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team/cooperative development efforts
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of development technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
