SUMMARY: Responsible for community relations and marketing activities of the Crete Area Medical Center, Crete Area Health Care Foundation, and Crete Area Medical Center Auxilary. These responsibilities are accomplished through collaboration with the leadership of CAMC, the Advancement Department of Bryan Health, and the Board of Directors of CAHCF. The overreaching job functions include but are not limited to marketing, community and public relations, donor and board relations and fundraising. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
- Oversees the departmental budgetary procedure to ensure proper operational and capital planning, appropriate and efficient use of resources, and consistent compliance to budgetary and fiscal controls.
- Develops and implements marketing strategy and a marketing plan.
- Executes problem identification, data gathering and implementation of strategy actions that are in the best interest of the organization and its mission, values and standards.
- Acts as CAMC's ambassador, along with the Senior Leadership team, CAMC Board, CAHCF Board, and providers to cultivate community involvement and relationships within the Crete, Friend and Wilber communities.
- Designs, plans and executes all fundraisings initiatives.
- Partners with the Bryan Health Advancement department to execute and coordinate medical center external promotional and corporate communication strategies and develop an annual marketing plan.
- Collaborates with community members and Bryan Health staff to execute marketing, fundraising and community events.
- Determines key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, trends, forecasts, campaign results and consumer trends.
- Works with the Crete Area Health Care Foundation to coordinate a 17-member Foundation Board of Directors and manage day to day operations.
- Leads, represents and maintains positive relations with CAMC Ladies Auxiliary.
- Manages the donor database.
- Oversees formulations of department goals and objectives.
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, coaching, mentoring, retaining and evaluating of staff as assigned.
- Keeps informed of current issues including new procedures, developments, and innovation. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Performs service excellence must-haves to achieve an excellent patient/customer experience.
- Uses quality improvement processes, programs or outcomes to help improve department operations.
- Recruits, trains and maintains positive volunteer relationships.
- Maintains and ensures appropriate internal controls related to fundraising records and finances.
- Provides the copywriting and project management and coordinates all aspects of the internal and external marketing.
- Manages and maintains positive working relationships.
- Participates in and/or leads meetings, committees, projects as assigned.
- Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field required. Minimum of one (1) year experience working with non-profit, philanthropic groups or equivalent required.
