Description

SUMMARY: The Team Administration Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of team logistics including but not limited to relocation assistance, travel documentation, transportation and hotel accommodations for both domestic and international travel. This position is responsible for acting as a direct liaison with MLS and Revolution players, coaches and staff on relevant issues that arise. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for managing the team's operational policy and procedure development in coordination with the GM and coaching staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Coordinate team travel for the First Team including flights, hotels, ground transportation, meals, training, equipment and other team needs as they arise
  2. Manage all aspects of player onboarding which includes providing exemplary customer service, relocation assistance and acting as a residential advisor (housing and vehicle needs, reimbursement options, submittal of proper documentation to MLS and KSLLC, etc.)

    • Coordinate with Player Care Liaison to ensure smooth transitions of players into market, as well as seamless offboarding for outgoing players.


  3. Manage all player and staff visas, work permits, and travel documents (including green cards). Partner with Human Resources for proper attainment, renewal and recordkeeping.
  4. Coordinate all aspects of player and coach administration for the First Team including travel documents, MLS required HR documents, team documentation and various other documentation that may arise
  5. Coordinate all trial player and agent travel, accommodation and ground transportation needs for both domestic and international travel
  6. Execute a multitude of game day responsibilities including, but not limited to the visiting and home team responsibilities, timelines, staffing and league communications to include ticket tracking (coaches and players) and player roster submission
  7. Assist in the coordination of special soccer events in and out of the stadium including, but not limited to providing support at US Open Cup, Super Liga, CONCACAF Champions Cup, and MLS Special Events
  8. Manage organizational wide travel needs for players, staff and coaches including but not limited to special MLS events, MLS meetings, SuperDraft, Combine and other approved trips
  9. Coordinator of First Team training needs (field usage/scheduling, equipment needs, security detail, field watering, stadium operations, etc.)
  10. Develop and maintain valuable team relationships (preseason destinations, travel partners, league office, etc.)
  11. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  12. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration
  • Proficient in Major League Soccer CBA, MLS Operations and MLS Travel guidelines.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects of high importance and adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in relevant software for operations; WorkDay, Duo Security, TeamWorks, MLS University
  • Experience with US immigration policies and procedures relevant to first team.
  • Proficient with immigration policies with Non-Immigrant Visas and Green Cards.
  • Experience with USCIS registration processes for foreign employees.
  • Effective relationship building skills.
  • Conversational in Spanish Language.
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
