Overview

ABI Document Support Services is looking for Product Manager to join our team!

The Product Manager's role is to set the direction for existing and new products under the company portfolio by partnering with stakeholders on enhancements and new product offerings to attract clients and increase market share. The Product Manager will oversee the development of project and enhancement proposals, represent the business interests of the stakeholders, prioritize the development team's efforts and regularly report high level progress to upper management. The role will have accountability of all product roadmaps with quarterly and yearly goals. The Product Manager may have direct reports such as Business Analysts or Release Managers and will both mentor and oversee their requirements gathering and documentation activities.

The pay range is approximately $70,000-$80,000.



Responsibilities

    Capture customer product requirements and prioritize them to meet both business and customer needs.
  • Work with software development, sales and marketing, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market direction and future development required to build a long term product strategy.
  • Translate customer needs and feature enhancements into detailed development requirements.
  • Hold regular meetings with both stakeholders and developers will ensure that requested changes meet and exceed the customer's expectations and are adopted by end users with minimal conflict.
  • Become a power user with in-depth knowledge of company software and underlying technologies and their interactions.
  • Conduct demos at regular project cadences to engage the users and develop business implementation plans to ensure proper adoption.
  • Work closely with the delivery teams from project planning to deployment and ensure the product is aligned to business needs through acceptance testing.
  • Communicate the business process and any deltas as a part of project delivery and ensure that documentation is captured for the delivery teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular analysis of major competitors in the market to ensure the company continues to reinvent and differentiate itself from its peers.
  • Assist in the training of Sales Account Executives on the use of eSummary and other technologies.
  • Assist in testing and deployment of eSummary and other related releases.
  • Work closely with leads, stakeholders and upper management to ensure key milestones are established and met, and communicate any known risks throughout the project.
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent product related activities.
  • Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact employees, customers, and overall business objectives.
  • May perform scheduling, resource allocation and cross-functional execution as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Must have proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
  • Must have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
