As an ICS Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the cybersecurity of power plant controls, contributing to risk management, asset protection, and compliance adherence. Your responsibilities will encompass control system modernization projects, cybersecurity program development, compliance management, and plant control system support. What You'll Be doing:

  • Evaluate power plant control systems for cybersecurity needs, develop project cybersecurity strategies, and manage the lifecycle of platforms and systems to ensure reliability and security.
  • Maintain power plant control system network and asset documentation, configuration history, standardization and modernization information for all generating assets
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, conduct assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform periodic assessments of cybersecurity at the plants and assist to further the maturity model of the program
  • Administer and maintain critical systems, provide cybersecurity and engineering support, and facilitate integration of security measures into plant operations.

What You'll Need:

  • Engineering and Cybersecurity experience in the power industry working on instrumentation and controls systems.
  • Possess working knowledge of computer hardware/software including the Microsoft Office family of products.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity for distributed control systems manufactured by ABB, Emerson Process, GE and Siemens-Westinghouse is preferred.
  • Possess an excellent aptitude for computer operation, networking and communications.
  • Excellent organizational, communications, interpersonal, and supervisory skills are required.
  • Possess the desire to research/learn new technologies almost on a daily basis for the purpose of system support.
  • Project management experience preferred.
