Job Summary: Production Maintenance Mechanic I is for a qualified individual with proven maintenance skills. Responsibilities include efficient maintenance and repair of all extraction, mix-blend, boilers, HVAC, cooling towers, waste treatment, water softeners, RO units, and production equipment. Conducts preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with other projects as assigned reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Educational and/or Experience: High school diploma, or GED; two or more years related experience in a food grade facility. Aseptic processing and high-speed form/fill/seal packaging preferred. Boiler license preferred MN 1st class B. Willing to obtain a 1st class B under apprenticeship. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Math Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform in this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of business software, and manufacturing software (HMIs, PLCs, and manufacturing controls). Other Qualifications: Must be able to work flexible hours.
