New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician for a 3-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Location: (Cape Coral FL/Ft Myers Area) Mon-Friday, 40-hour work week. 8am-4pm This role will require someone to drive to different sites each day - 30-mile radius between sites A company vehicle will be provided Compensation: $36.75 per hour The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Job Responsibilities: Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 8-10 years experience required HVAC experience Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
