Job Summary

Advisor, Data & Analytics acts as a trusted consultant to business leaders and is responsible for guiding the strategic programs/portfolios that further advance an agile, data-driven enterprise. In partnership with leadership, the advisor creates and executes comprehensive data & analytic projects that could include strategic ideation, scope documentation, multi-disciplinary teams, complex communication, implementation readiness assessments, 12-18 month road maps, and change management. The advisor leverages deep business knowledge and analytical/technical skills to improve the experience of data & analytics customers and drive value for the enterprise. Most importantly, the advisor promotes trust in data & analytics by managing transparent customer relationships, stewarding the appropriate use of data, endorsing data governance standards, and guiding team members through development opportunities.

The Advisor, Data & Analytics role sits on a team of other D&A Advisors with unique and deep subject matter expertise. This role focuses on provider analytics and insights, primarily value-based risk contracts and accountable care networks (ACNs). The Advisor acts as a consultant/partner to the Provider Network team, working to inform decision-making through data & analytics, as well as provide actionable insights and opportunities for ACNs and other value-based initiatives, encompassing cost & use, quality, and risk. This role works in partnership with other D&A Advisors and a team of Business Intelligence Developers to provide well-rounded recommendations and decision support that connects data, strategy, and outcomes.

Essential Functions
  • Acts as an internal consultant to Data & Analytics and business leadership by guiding strategic programs/portfolios of work that further advance the agile, data-drive enterprise.
  • Provides leadership for key strategic Data & Analytics initiatives; may provide program, project, portfolio, or product management specific to these initiatives as required.
  • Builds trusted, transparent relationships with business and functional leaders by anticipating needs, ideating/scoping data assets, stewarding the appropriate use of data, endorsing data governance standards, and delivering timely/valuable insights for decision making.
  • Creates and executes comprehensive plans that could include 12-18 month road maps, strategic ideation, scope documentation, multi-disciplinary teams, implementation readiness, and change management.
  • Creates strategic communications materials and other artifacts to support Data & Analytics and other executives as required; delivers these materials to executive audiences across the organization.
  • Remains current with data and analytics tools and platforms and is able to define and articulate pros, cons and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assists in the development of data & analytics team members.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree In related field
  • 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred

  • Master's Degree In related field
  • Experience with data & analytics leadership
  • Experience with data governance processes
  • Experience with strategic planning and communication
  • Experience with value-based provider contracts
  • Experience with analytic programming languages and/or data visualization tools
