Description Leidos is looking for a Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI with polygraph to support work on an information technology (IT) contract in Northern Virginia. The contract supports leading the engineering, delivery, sustainment, and evolution of the client's broader Information Technology (IT) in support of its mission. The client's office leadership provides management and leadership for a wide spectrum of activities. Office lines of business include Collaboration Services, Endpoint & Security Services, Infrastructure Engineering and Hosting, Mission Unique Services, and Business Management. The Systems Engineer will deploy, install, and maintain servers, routers, edge switches, telecommunications systems, UPS systems, and desktop PC hardware in support of customer operations. This is a fast-paced program that requires someone who works well in a dynamic environment. The Systems Engineer is responsible for procedural input to the planning, preparation, and execution of all projects. Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff. Must have the ability to complete complex assignments without direction and direct those engineers that are more junior. Ensures that systems are implemented in a tight time frame and within budget. The core hours shall be 9:00AM - 3:00PM PST. Weekend or after-hours support may be required for operational issues, deployments and critical activities.
