Our mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning and a world class organization. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide. Team Overview Our team's core goals are to improve integration with partner teams to enable enhanced planning decisions, to help drive supply chain agility with reduced cycle time, and to deliver an optimized capacity plan to our partners downstream. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a passion to solve complex business problems. You will help us deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences. You will have opportunities to work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from customer-focused user experience work, building scalable distributed cloud services, and everything in between. ResponsibilitiesContribute to a high functioning feature team.You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key planning solutions and the technology to support them.Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for a highly scalable, durable, and low latency capacity planning system.Help gather, define, cost, and implement engineering deliverables. | |
