Overview of the Position:

Execute aircraft and aviation maintenance of components within timelines established by customer, FAA and ATC quality standards. Aircraft components to include pneumatic valves, electromechanical actuators, and electrical components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training.
  • Assemble and disassemble various components of aircraft during repairs and maintenance.
  • Adjust, align and calibrate components using hand tools, gauges, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.
  • Resolve complex technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs.
  • Perform compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Automotive, HVAC and/or Electrical knowledge
  • Ability and desire to learn the Aerospace Industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must work well in team environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools

Education / Experience Requirements:



  • Must have H.S. Diploma or GED

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Works in moderate noise levels.
  • Travel less than 1%.
  • No vision requirements.
