Overview: Ensure all parts needed for MRO operations are available or acquired in a timely manner to support rapid MRO Turn-Around Time to customer. Provide MRO Administration team with accurate lead time and cost information. Coordinate and support purchasing activities including request for proposals, purchase orders, receiving discrepancies, invoice discrepancies, supplier development actions, new supplier qualification support, supplier returns and other supply chain management support as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of related experience in purchasing position or some combination of education and experience is possible depending on experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Skills:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, commissions.
