Overview of the Position:

The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for selling corporate products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas.

* This is a full time on-site position. * This role requiresMinimum 4-5 years with experience in remote selling aerospace products into airlines, MRO's and distributors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific Wencor Group products.
  • Identifying and targeting opportunities and executing sales actions.
  • Ensure customers receive prompt, world-class service.
  • Monitor quote activity and progression and provide customer updates as needed.
  • Aggressively pursues both long-term agreements for repairs contracts.
  • Assist in achieving and meeting sales goals set jointly with management
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and capabilities.
  • Emphasizes product features based on analysis of customer's needs.
  • Helps with collections as needed.
  • Obtains competitive information and intelligence of responsible accounts.
  • Understands contracts and pursues both Purchasing and Development.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Representatives
  • Provide information and updates for various sales operation and resource systems including ILS, OneAero and AeroXChange.
  • Assist sales and product management with reports and data and provide technical information as needed.
  • Perform market research on new and existing products.
  • Analyze and respond to Request for Quotes (RFQs) via email or telephone.
  • When necessary, support the marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Answering AOG calls on products or services whenever is required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to occasional travel to attend sales events or exhibitions.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and airline MRO.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary. Minimum 4-5 years with experience in remote selling aerospace products into airlines, MRO's and distributors.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to work in high paced environment where multi-tasking is a must.
