Waters has established a state-of-the-art lab located at the Science, Technology, and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus of the University of Delaware. A team anchored in Delaware will uncover new trends and opportunities in next-generation bioprocess solutions and will have access to the latest technology in small-scale as well as large-scale bioreactors and analytical instruments. This endeavor will include dynamic collaborations with the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL), Universities, and companies worldwide. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of biologists, analytical chemists, data scientists, and bioprocess engineers. Are you inspired by challenging cutting-edge opportunities? Responsibilities Carry out research and develop technology for analytical characterization of manufacturing processes for biologics and novel modalities
Perform cell culture and practice aseptic techniques for developing and processing research-grade cellular products
Qualifications Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CDMO industries or Master's with 8+ years of experience. Exceptional candidates with the right combination of Bachelor's and relevant work experience will be considered.
