This job provides high quality, advanced life support in a pre-hospital setting. Responsible for Education Required - High school diploma or equivalent Graduation from an approved EMT/Paramedic Program Work Experience Preferred - Two years of experience as a Registered EMT/Paramedic, Two years of experience driving emergency vehicles, Completion of a PHTLS Course (Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support). Certifications Required - Licensed in the state of practice as an EMT/Paramedic, Registered with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an EMT/Paramedic, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Current Driver's License Class D in state of practice, Completion of Defensive Driving Course within 30 days of hire, and Completion of Haz-Mat Awareness Training. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
