*Position Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing Java applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and run efficiently. This role involves creating design documentation, debugging and fixing code, and testing the software. The position is essential for proper data use to support business decisions related to workforce and operational management.
*Responsibilities:* * Design and implement Java applications that fulfill employer requirements. * Create well-written code that runs efficiently and optimally. * Communicate with end-users to determine their needs. * Test completed software and debug as necessary. * Examine existing code and recommend patches, design overhauls, or fixes for broken code. *Top Skills:* * Java * Spring Boot * SQL and ETL development skills for data integration work *Enterprise Required Skills:* * SQL, Data, Data analysis, Python, Data Engineering, PostgreSQL, Cloud Apps, Cloud DE, Java, Spring, Boot, AWS, ETL, AWS services *Work Environment:* * Hybrid and Agile. Remote work is allowed, but availability for onsite meetings and working sessions is required, especially at the start. There is an opportunity to learn and gain experience working within AWS. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development. * In-depth knowledge of website design and programming. * In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of hardware and operating systems (Unix-based systems a plus). * Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2). * Agile experience with application servers and web application servers. *Additional Information:* * Targeted Start Date: December 8, 2024. * Interview Information: One-step interview.
